About this project
I'm building an internal web app where a company manages its vehicles and the public tenders it bids on. Each vehicle has its profile, documents, insurance, inspections, maintenance, tasks, location and expenses, and the system sends alerts before documents expire. The tender module keeps the bid, submitted documents, competing bids and the result, and past unit prices can be compared by vehicle type. Registration, insurance and inspection documents are read with OCR on the user's own computer and filled into forms, never sent to an outside service. Since most users are over 50, I designed a simple interface with large text and high contrast.
The Problem
Vehicle documents, policy and inspection dates and tender files were kept in scattered folders and spreadsheets, and deadlines were being missed.
The Solution
I'm building a role-based management system that brings the fleet and tenders into one panel, reads documents automatically and warns about upcoming deadlines.
